Today we are sharing our projects and cards using Grand Tags and Pretty Patterns.
Here are 2 cards I made using Grand Tags.
When I was making this 1st one my 1st thought was "my mema would NOT have liked to get a card like this", LOL...she never let her silver hair show, hehe :) but she did have a heart of gold.
Here's my card using Pretty Patterns........................
and it's MESSED up!
I brought it to work this morning to take a picture and set my pen on it...and somehow ink from the pen got on the card :(
BUT that's life, right? keepin' it real for y'all!
I hope you like the cards I made and that you enjoy today's blog hop!!!

ReplyDeleteThese cards are great. I like the way the chevron is used.
ReplyDeleteFab designs!!
ReplyDeleteNice cards! Put a flower or a button on a place of that Oops =)
ReplyDeleteYour cards brought a smile to my face. Beautiful cards. Thanks for sharing your lovely cards with us.
ReplyDeleteI'm a blue fan, so the birthday card really caught my attention. I like the uniqueness of the chevron card too [even with the "oops"].
ReplyDeleteCool cards!! TFS!
ReplyDeleteAren't they just the funnest new set? Seems all my embellishments are placed by oops!
ReplyDeleteLove the OOPS!
ReplyDeleteI did that just this weekend only it was an inkpad, so I started over!! Ha!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Jimmi!!
thats what flowers are for to cover our opps! thanks for sharing your human. love all cards especially the opps.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Jimmi! I really love how you did that sentiment on the last one, with the chevrons!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Your cards show creativity and a different approach to using the stamps.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, so creative.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I especially like the blue one, but I am partial to blue. Good job on them.
ReplyDeleteI love how you staggered the colors on the chevron card! great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on your birthday card. Very pretty!

ReplyDeleteI especially like the craft card with the blues. Would make a good guy card.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! A button or flower would help your oops !
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I'm sure you can fix the oops with something. I love that grandparent sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being human! :) In spite of your oops, the chevron card is so sweet..I love how you switched the colors under the sentiment. And it's good to see another example of how the tags set isn't just for grandparents.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards! I have far too many of those oopsie moments. I usually find a quick embellishment! :)

Fabulous cards using these sets and don't we all hate with we have ink spots.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! Don't sweat the "oops", still a very nice card. The next one will be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI do SO like your style!

ReplyDeletepretty cards ink smudges and all. Glad to see it happens to you guys too!

ReplyDeleteLove how you used the grand tags.
ReplyDeleteSOOOOOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteVery nice cards. I really like the blue tag. The oops card is brgging to be covered with some bling:-)
ReplyDeleteI love your cards. And, a little "oops" happens to all of us and that just goes to show that it is a stepping stone to more creativity as I am sure you can figure out a way to remove that oops. Some inks can be removed with a paper stump dipped in bleach too if it is on white cardstock.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards! Oops are what embellishments are for!
ReplyDeleteGreat card and love that you shared the opps with us!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! I'm especially fond of the blue birthday card with that beautiful blue ribbon! Sorry your final card got a booboo on it. I hate it when that happens!
ReplyDeleteGreat new sets and some fab ideas for using the stamps!

See, had you not pointed it out, we might not have noticed. The fun part with a mess up is coming up with a way to hide or use it and still have a great card.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I must get those pretty patterns.
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty, pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery nice cards. Love the corners on the blue one. And very whimsical last card.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! and even the oops is great and should have at least made every cardmaker laugh - who hasn't had something similar happened thanks for sharing it!

ReplyDeleteMy kids call their grandmother Meemah! :) And she always kept her hair colored until she went into the nursing home, so I like the laugh behind your card! :)
