My good friends had to put their sweet golden retriever Sally to sleep yesterday...she was 14 and she was tired :(
So I've made them both a card to help ease their pain just a little, I hope they help.
Here is the card I made for my co-worker:
and here is the one I made for her husband:
For both cards I used the stamp set Forever Friends.
I'll be linking this post up to this week's Friends With Flair post, hope you'll join in the fun, too!
Have a fabulous day.

These are wonderful cards and I am so sorry that your friend lost her dog! There is simply nothing worse!
ReplyDeletesuch cute cards!
ReplyDeleteIt's the saddest thing in the world having to make that decision. So nice that you're thinking of them with such awesome cards.
ReplyDeleteCute cards.
ReplyDeleteAwww... I remember when we had to make that decision for our golden. It was almost 2 years ago. It was a very sad day, but with very happy memories.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards for such a sad occasion.

Thank you for the cards, Jimmi. And thank you to your friends for their sympathy. As you know, my husband, Palmer, is a recovering (we are proud not to be anonymous!) alcoholic. Of his 15 years of sobriety, Sally was with him for 14 of them. He knows that there were times he simply would not have made it through without Sally. She was truly an amazing friend. And I am so glad that I was part of her life for the last 4 1/2 years.
ReplyDeleteho your cards are super adorable, it make wanted to cry and smile. so full of love and care.
