Some Soon To Be Released MFT & MME {CHA} Stuff!

While I was busy eating and shopping in Chicago...I did manage to get a few stampy goodies to play with!
One thing I got is a pad of soon to be released My Minds Eye paper.  It's from their 6x6 Collection and it's called Honey Pie.
The other is a My Favorite Things Pure Innocence girlie that is part of their next release...she's Sunflower Girl and as adorable as can be!
Here is a card I made using my new goodies:

I was so inspired I did something I never do...I even fancied up the insides...that sentiment is too sweet not to show :)

I {actually} Colored This!

Hello, hello!
I had a very exciting, quick trip to Chicago for some fun and shopping.  While I was there my sweet sister (soul), Beate, taught me some of her skillzzz in the Copic coloring category!
I began the day with NO skills and she showed me some tricks and gave me some tips and I made this:

It only took me coloring about 4 of these cute MFT girls to get it right...not TOO bad, lol!
I learned some flicking and how to color hair and how to make cute cheeks and all that good stuff!
Now I need to get some more markers so I can PRACTICE...it do believe practicing is the trick!

I'm pretty proud of me :)

Half of them were taken with my phone so they aren't the best BUT I did have the BEST time...that's really what matters in life, isn't it!??

I promise to you I was standing outside, last night, and it had been storming and raining all day and evening and the very edge of the horizon were these colors with the black trees in front of it...it was SO pretty!  So I ran in and made a card to match my sky :)

I hope you have some fun Independence Day plans (US friends!)!  I'll be driving down to SC to meet my sister to pick up my sweet niece for the week, I'm so excited to get to play with that little sweetie for a whole week!  She's 6 so she like to shop ;)
I'm sure we will have some fireworks in with the shopping, LOL!
