Lovey Dovey Friday Fun and Flair!

WOW!  Is LOVE in the air or what???

If this doesn't make your heart pitter patter I'd have to check your pulse!

and could you totally tell that they really, really LIKE each other?
it's SO beautiful to see people in love.

I'll tell you a little secret, I was watching the wedding
and watching them looking at each other and I thought
"wow, they are lucky to have a love like I have"
so I'm a little mushy today, I just LOVE love!

You probably didn't come to hear all of that blah blah blah, lol!
So here is the card I made last night, it was a quicky...I timed myself
and it took 9 minutes!
That's all the time I had seeing as though I was getting up at 5am
for the WEDDING!

I'm SO Excited!

and I just can't hide it!
GUESS WHAT?

A wonderful friend told me over a month ago that the fabulous sticky peeps at Helmar
were looking for a few good women (and men) to join their team.
So very reluctantly, because they are like ARTISTS at that company, so very reluctantly
I sent in my email with all they were asking for, along with my Helmar pants story
where I was late for work and my hem fell out of my favorite black pants
so I grabbed the 1st thing I saw which happened to be my handy-dandy 450 Glue
and hemmed my pants right up!
and that was a few months ago and they are STILL holding strong!

That's some awesome stuff!

So, anyway, I got a call from Tracy, the boss lady!
She left a voicemail for me and I could have sworn it said
"hi Jimmi, this is Tracy from HELLO USA..."
I was SO curious I called to see what "HELLO USA" was, LOL!
and then I fainted!

no really!

Yes I am on the Helmar DT and I am shocked, floored, flabbergasted and feeling BLESSED!

and my sweet Jessica is on the team, too, so we are BACK together, LOL!

I’ve seen this little game going around the blog world for quite some time and thought, “might as well fill this thing out.”
Actually I love answering these types of questions so I found it quite entertaining.

A. Age: oh gosh, 37, I think.

GUESS WHAT???

THIS happened, for real!

I'm SO excited!

Design * Memory * Craft project & GIVEAWAY!

I'm So excited to show you all something NEW and FUN today!
I have been playing with the new Design Memory Craft products, the Mixed Media Sampler sets and Color Gelatos...ummm...and the Gelatos look like LIP GLOSS, so they are basically perfect ;)

The Mixed Media Sampler sets are fabulous sets of coordinating coloring mediums and the Gelatos are these creamy sticks of color that you can blend and stamp with and water color with, very COOL!

I have made one card so far using them.  I used the Big Brush Pen and the Gelatos on this card:

 

To be exact, I used all 5 of the Gelatos on this card!
I used the 4 colors in the Gelatos and Clear Stamp kit and the metallic
Gelato from the Mixed Media kit.
I colored the butterfly with the 4 Gelatos from the Red set
and smudged them around with a sponge!
Then I put some of the metallic Gelato onto another sponge
and sponged the embossed dots on the background.
If you could see them in person you'd see how shimmery it looks!
I used the Big Brush Pen to color directly onto my stamp for the sentiment.

Very FUN and EASY!

yep, I'm ready for Friday!

I have a card for you today.

It's for Friends With Flair and
also for our Friday Fun Challenge.
Sherry turned 37 this week so she challenged
us to use 3 ribbons and 7 embellishments...yikes!

So I gave up last night and threw in the towel.
then I thought about the card all night
and how it would not win!
So I got up a little early before work
and finished it, HA!

it's definitely a "made too early to be awake" kind of card
with a few smudges and stuff but oh well, right.
it is what it is!
