Friday Fun Flowers & a Sneak Peek!

Happy Friday, lovely friends!
It's a beautiful day here in VA!

It's actually going to be in the 50's for the weekend...which
is our normal temps but we haven't seen them in FOREVER.

I'm super excited, this may call for a bike ride down at the beach :)

I have a nice, happy, Springtime card to share with you today.

I made it for the Friends With Flair blog hop and

I am the hostess for January and the challenge is a color challenge.
We are using turquoise, yellow and tan...all the colors that make me think of SUMMER!

Friday Fun Book Challenge & FWF

Hello lovely friends!  Happy Friday to you all!
I am having a SUPER happy Friday because I took the day off to give myself a nice 4-day weekend, yay me!
I think I'll do nothing today, yep, sure will!
And I'll start right after this blog post, lots of that daytime TV to watch...LOVE that stuff!

So today's FFC is to make a card inspired by your favorite book or a book you are reading, etc.
My card is very loosely inspired by the cover of Dark Lover...the book that started my love for the Black Dagger Brotherhood....grown-up vampire stuff!  no Edward here...lol (I still do love my Edward).

and here is my card. I used the same colors and I made it about love because these books are all about LOTS of love ;)

this bad picture is why I take ALL of my pictures at work and why I never really submit to PC Mag, lol....it's always the night of the deadline when I think of making something and there is NO WAY I am taking pics of them in my house with NO good lighting and sending them to anyone, lol....Oh well, c'est la vie, right?

Case Study Card & a Giveaway

Today I have a card I made for a challenge blog that I just discovered over the weekend, Case Study Challenge.
For the month of January their guest designer is Mercy Kerin....a SUPER sweetie.
I made this card based on her card on the Case Study blog.

I used Echo Park  BE MINE paper and Undeniably You.
I cut out the image with my pretty, PINK Grand Calibur :)

I also have a happy little BLOG giveaway for you.
I just have WAY too much paper so I am sharing!
I kept half of these paper lines and you get the rest...and a couple of paper pads, too...some stickers, fabric, etc.

I tried to count it and came to 60 sheets of 12x12 (give or take a few).

There is paper from My Minds Eye, Graphic 45 (Fashionista & Le Romantique), Bo Bunny, DCWV, Samantha Walker (fabric and stickers to match/Cowboy and Cowgirl collection), Making Memories (Chloe's Closet...1 of my all time FAVE lines, I still use it), Studio Calico (Elementary & others)....LOTS of good stuff!

It all weighs 3lb 12.4oz.

And I am going to give it all to one person on Friday (in the US only, since I have to pay to send it myself), so leave me a comment, say anything, no rules!
