Hip Hoppin' Right out of September!

Ummmm...WOW...today is the last day of September! Hello people! What the heck?
I'm not ready for this! I just don't know what to do...guess I'll have to get over it, HA!

BUT today is the last day to get this FABBY stamp set for September {when I am with you}...so you better HURRY!

Echo Park & FTL109 ~ Halloween Card

Here is a super quick card I made for this weeks Clean and Simple sketch #109.

I used some of my new favorite paper, Echo Park. I LOVE all of their paper, it's so cute and just perfect for my tastes :D
No stamps used here!

FRIDAY!!!

How happy are you that it's FRIDAY??? I'm happy :)

But before I go any further...I want to talk about something/confess something, right here, right now!
I have become such a LAZY stamper and I don't like it...I used to love to try new things and sit for hours and hours in my stamping room and make cards. But not anymore. And I think I want to get back to that. I see all these CUTE embellishments people are MAKING, like not buying, but MAKING themselves and I love them....swirly flowers and ribbony things and beautiful-ness! I want to try all of these things and I just wanted to say that I am going to TRY to do this and make an effort to be better and more detailed at making cards....K?

Just wanted to get that out there and off of my chest because it's been bothering me a lot.

OK, now for what you came for, the card.

Today's card, as every Friday, pretty much...is for Friends With Flair which you can learn all about in THIS SCS thread and then see all of the blogs on the Unity Blog.

My card is also for the week's Friday Fun challenge from Sara, she said "show me your flowers" so I made a card with a flower...(see! I should have used flowerS but I was lazy!).

I used the same Echo Park paper from yesterday, hope you don't mind, it's just so danged adorable and perfect.
I used a sketch from Sketchabilities.
This sentiment that I am totally in love with, is from All About the Journey.

Go Confidently

I made this card Friday night maybe for today's {Ippity} hop but really didn't feel like I used enough {Ippity} for it to count so I didn't link it up.

But I do LOVE this card. It was super quick and easy to make and was perfect for the crafty fix I needed after work Friday evening :)
The stamps on the Kraft piece are from All About the Journey and I used Burlap from {Ippity} to stamp the Pumpkin Pie piece of cardstock.

This patterned paper is Basic Grey Pyrus.

Time for Friends With Flair and Friday Fun!

This week's Friday Fun Challenge from Sara is to Think Pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness.

I made a pink {and purple} card that is not particularly for Breast Cancer Awareness but perfect to give to a girlfriend or little one during the Winter months, an encouraging card :)
I used the Crate Paper Snow Day Collection paper and chipboard.

The sentiment is from the November 2009 Unity Kit of the Month Simply Magical.

September Stampin' Store Kit

Today I have a bookmark I made using the September Store Kit Bold Insight.

I used this very good tutorial on SCS...it only took me 4 times to get the folded part right so in my mind that's GOOD tutorial...I am more than fold-illiterate...there really aren't words to describe my skills, LOL!
The paper I used is Crate Paper, Restoration.

Friday Circles

TGIF!!!
I know I'm ready for the weekend! It's only been a 4 day work week but it feels like 8! Why is that? Oh well, I can think about it for 2 days while I'm off work, right ;)

Today's card is for Friends With Flair which you can find out all about in this thread on SCS and then you can find all the blogs participating on the Unity Blog this morning...it's also for this weeks Friday Fun Challenge.

This weeks Friday Fun challenge from Sara is to use circles in any way we want to.

So I used a bunch of punched out circles from Cosmo Cricket's Pixie-Licious paper line. I used a stamp from the Unity kit to match this cute paper called Pixie-Licious Blooms.
I added one little piece of chipboard and viola...a 5 minute card...5 minutes only because I didn't put any of the punches away when I was done, just left them laying on the floor next to the drawer...I hope the dog doesn't decide they are toys today! HA!

It's Friday, YAY!
So much fun going on this weekend....Rachel is going to TN for our family reunion, my sister is coming from FL to VA for her 30th birthday weekend and her and I are going to a fancy dinner tonight and then to Williamsburg tomorrow for a day of shopping then back to Williamsburg Sunday to go to Busch Gardens, I CAN'T WAIT! Then I think Mike and I (and the dogs!) are sneaking off to the beach for the day on Monday....it's going to be PERFECT!

Yeah...change of plans....we are going to the OBX!!!!!!!!! We just can't resist seeing those BIG waves, YIPPEE...we will still SHOP and EAT but it will be in Nags Head instead ;)

What are your plans for one of the last PRECIOUS weekends of Summer...I LOVE SUMMER...hate to see it go.
