Hi there everyone...TGIF!

Today I wanted to show you a card I made using a new Samantha Walker/Unity Stamp Co. kit called With All My Heart....now don't freak out that the heart-hater made a card with hearts...these hearts are just so different and cool that I HAD to play with them...forgive me?

What do you think? Cool hearts, right? There are a bunch more in this kit too that really catch my eye!

I just used the same basic layout for this card, with a rectangle and a circle and added some pretty patterned paper, which I didn't even know existed a few years ago.

The butterfly tree is from the June kit of the month: Fly Free and the CUTE sentiment is from this month's kit of the month: Happily Every After

Payin' It Forward

I have a lot of stamping supplies...surprise, right?
Probably more than I can use in 10 lifetimes....sad!

So, I was thinking if I could find someone that NEEDS them I would love to give them to them.

Do you know someone that needs supplies? Maybe they can't really afford anything right now besides the necessities...times are tough, maybe they had a fire or could be anything. Maybe it's you? A friend?

Send me an email and let me know who you think needs some supplies or if you need them and I'll pick someone to send this box to from all the stories you send me :)
(Please only someone in the US, I have to pay to send it and Canada, Europe, Asia, etc. are kind of expensive for me)

What's in the box?
oh at least a hundred pieces of patterned paper (probably way more but I didn't count)...lots of SU! paper, I don't know if it's current or not but it's pretty :).
Some stamp sets (Unity (brand new): Gratitude=Joy and Little Buggers and a few non-Unity sets)....
at least 100 yards of ribbon (almost all of the SU! 1/4" grosgrain colors, some of them brand new and a bunch of other brands/styles)
a bunch of lace...
some embellishments,
some stuff to alter...
a Scor-Pal (the older version with fewer grid marks)
2 tote bags for stamping stuff
and a lot more.
Just added some Grunge Board that I found :)

Happy Thursday....now tell me something.
Why does this feel like the longest week EVER? I mean, I had Monday off, right? So, it should fly by? But nope...it's just dragging it's tail til Friday at 5:00...oh well, tomorrow is Friday finally so I'll stop whining now....you can all say thank you ;)

Onto the cards and the HOP...which starts at the Unity Blog!

Both of my cards today were made with the new Scrapbook Royalty kit called Just Be You. Scrapbook Royalty is a charitable organization whose mission is to raise money and awareness for noble causes through unique scrapbooking and crafting events, raffles, and silent auctions. As well as to promote "creative" opportunities for crafters to give. 100% of the net proceeds are donated to the worthy causes they support...pretty COOL huh?

Yep, part of the proceeds of BOTH of the Unity/Scrapbook Royalty kits goes to charity...that just means that you HAVE to buy one or the other or both...it's for a good cause ;)


This card uses some PRETTY Graphic 45 paper, the Fashionista line, of course! I am sure this is my favorite Graphic 45 paper ever, tons of pretty patterns in this pack! If you check out their blog you will see that the G45 team has been using Unity stamps, we swapped!

Hip Hop Into July!

Thursday is here! Hip Hoppin' PARTAY time!

I have a card made with the July kit of the month, Happily Ever After, to show you...a card which I feel I was very creative in making, let me know if you agree...ha!
You know when you get a package of patterned paper it has that sheet in the front that shows all of the designs in the pack and the name, etc.? Well that is what I've used here on this card! I just cut that front piece up a bit and used it here...the stripes of the paper were just too perfect not to use!
Then I did something totally crazy....I cut this piece of chipboard to make it fit on my card...I know, I know...crazy I tell ya!
(OK, I know I am not that crazy or original but for me these are huge steps in the "creativity" department!)

So here's the card:

The paper and chipboard is the Delovely line from Cosmo and this sketch is this weeks Lord Have Mercy sketch.
