I made this card for this week's Sketch for You to Try. I had to make it a little bigger than a standard card because my butterflies are too big. I suppose I should have just cut them a little smaller but I didnt think of that until after I glued one down...oopsie:) The butterfly stamp is from the Unity Stamp Company September Kit of the Month!
The cardstock and dsp is from Stampin' Up! The ribbon is by Martha Stewart and is exactly the color of Tangerine Tango, perfect match:)
I used stickles in 3 different colors for the butterflies polka-dots.

Want My Inky Antics Stamps? (quickie blog candy!)

A few months ago I ordered some Inky Antics stamps and also ordered their Grab Bag of unmounted stamps. These do have a sticky back so you'll have to mount them on something or remove the sticky cushion if you win them.

There are 35 stamps in the bag. They are mostly holiday stamps, several snowmen and Christmas stamps, a couple Halloween and some sayings, too. They are pretty much all country style stamps.

I'm not using them so i'd like to give them a good home.

My 1st card today was made for the SCS Sketch and Color Challenges. I used the very set that I came up with for Unity Stamp Co. called Dad's of All Kinds.
This card I made for the Unity Wednesday challenge hosted by my bff Sherry (sherrylc05) to use paper piecing. I used the September Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Co.
Oh, Sherry did a great tutorial on paper piecing. It's her 1st tutorial and it is way too professional for a beginner, LOL!!

I hope you enjoyed viewing my cards as much as I enjoyed making them!!

Hello Fall!

Today is *officially* the 1st day of Fall but I am still wearing my capri's and sandals!!

I really love Summer. My husband and I were sitting on the front steps the other day trying to find a place we can move to that is around 75-80 degrees all year long or at least 3/4 of the year long. Hotter is ok, just not any colder than that, lol! Let us know if you have a place for us with our ideal weather temperature;)

I made this card to kind of get myself in the Fall mood:

Here's a couple of Halloween cards. I don't even send people Halloween cards but I do love making them for some reason, Halloween is so much fun!!

This card uses Trick or Treat Peeps. This kit was released last Thursday.
This card uses the tree I love so much from Growing in Unity.
It's not really a great card but it is sooooo much fun to color the tree with the sponges, it makes me happy:):) Then the rhinestones make me even happier and it's all about the *happy*, you know??

Christmas Cardinal

I really had no idea what I was doing when I was coloring this image.
I didn't realize it was more of a solid stamp, I thought it was a line image that I could color in.
I used my markers and blender pen to color the stamp, then I used my blender pen to color it once I stamped it onto Shimmery White cardstock.

My 1st card today is for this weeks SCS Sketch Challenge and Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge.
I have never tried Kristina's challenge before and I think I picked a tough week...these colors were a monster for me. I have never been able to use more than 3 colors on a card but I tried:)
(the ribbon is the same color as the cardstock base but looks totally diff for some reason, sorry abotu that)
My 2nd card is all my daughters fault, lol! She said "please use that cool skull stamp and put a pink crown on it...."

Cheers GSG Swap Card

This is sort of the card I am doing for the new catty Great Swaps Girls swap.
Only diff will be that because I am a dork and don't have enough of this SS Kit, I cut the scallop circles in half and they will only be above the ribbon. I cut them out so the words will all be right side up...took WAY too much thinking on my part but I eventually figured it out, lol! Oh and pray that I don't run out of that ribbon, either!!

What do you think of my new SU! watermark? Yes, it matches my blog layout and I love it!

Halloween Swap

I made this card for a swap I am in at my local scrappin' and stampin' store. I believe the theme is Halloween cards...sure hope so!
The stamp I used is from a new Unity kit that I just got in the mail today: Growing in Unity.
I have been dying for this tree stamp and I finally have it:) Yay me!
The little *happy halloween* cirle stamp is in a Michaels $1 clear set. I do believe it is the only Halloween stamp I have in my collection, good thing I remembered I bought it months ago. And the designer paper is SU!'s from last year.

I am working of a Great Swaps Girls swap card too that hopefully I can show you tomorrow, if I can get the kinks worked out, lol.

I need help. Serious help. This is out of control.
