Hip Hop Hangover!! {& Winners!}

I don't know about you but I had the best time yesterday and last night Hip Hoppin' with all the Unity peeps!! I have to say the best part was getting to give away all those goodies, that was a blast!! I can't beleive it took y'all so long to guess my favorite stamp set...it's Beach Day, for future reference;)

















I made this card using the Unity single called "So & So Loves...", isn't it cute as can be? I am totally NOT a heart person, I hate hearts, I hate heart candy, jewelry, everything...but this little stamp is turning the tide for me....my husband will just die when I give him this. He freaked out over the Anniversary card I made him that had a heart on it...this will really send him over the edge, lol!!

I can't believe it, time really flies!!

HUGE Blog Candy in My Shopping Bag!

At some point in my blogging I passed 20,000 visitors and that is HUGE to me!!

It's my Anniversary today...I made this card for Mike using the August KOTM and for this weeks SCS color challenge.
I certainly hope he doesn't get any ideas about camping from this card! He talks about it a lot and it makes me very nervous...
I think that I need a stamp that goes with this to say "If the camper's a rockin' don't"....you know the rest, lol! That would fit this card perfectly for me;)I have a husband that does everything for me, he does all the dishes, changes the bed sheets every single Sunday, has never even had a "honey-do" list because he has never left anything undone...he loves my shopping habit, my stamping habit and my grumpiness too! He loves my friends, even loves my few extra pounds that have found me lately. He loves our daughter and I to the death...

I can't say I dont deserve him though because I really had an awful life before he came into it. I went through things that are unspeakable and untypeable. I believe I went through all I did so that I could have a wonderful "rest of my life" with this wonderful man and so I would appreciate him. I don't think he reads my blog but if he does then I want to tell him that I love him and I am so thankful that he came into my life.

Stamping Just Because...

my husband told me to! LOL

Yes, my husband told me to stamp...to cheer myself up and get in a better mood. He's so smart because it worked!

I got some new Papertrey Ink goodies yesterday so I tried them out: This card was inspired by my friend Kim and her simple style of stamping and her love of Papertrey Ink!

The stamp set is Floral Frenzy and all the cardstock and paper is from Papertrey Ink. The ink is PTI's Lavendar Moon and Plum Pudding mixed with a little Kiwi Kiss.

Bridal Shower Gift

Wanna know something great about being a stamper?

Chances are when you need a gift for someone and have no money to buy one you have something in your handy dandy craft closet that will work just fine;)

I have 2 of these sets of coasters that I thought i'd use on a rainy day and you know what?? It's actually raining right now so I think this worked out fine.
I made this gift for a co-worker of mine. She is getting married on the 23rd (here are her wedding invites I made) and she loves red so I think they'll do.

We are going out to eat tonight at Smithfield Station and I am so excited!! My boss is the coolest boss ever. Here's the deal, we asked him if we could have a shower for her in the Board Room after work one day and he said "Why don't y'all go out somewhere nice with my credit card?"...Ummmm...ok!! This should be a fun night:)

I used my all time favorite stamp, Roses in Winter, to make these coasters and a verse I thought was appropriate for newleyweds. Great thing is that if she gets tired of them I can stamp something else for her to put in them!

SFYTT ~ Copic Coloring with Bic Markers

This card is for this weeks Sketch For You To Try. I don't play it often so I don't know if it usually has a number but I didnt see one so we wont worry about it;)

To color this tree I used my Bic Markers from Target and shaded them just like you would with Copic markers. They were $11.00 for like 36 of them, can't beat that and the results are pretty good to me, well, good enough for me anyway;)

I used the kit from Unity Stamp Company called Eco Chic, love it:), and the background called Tres Chic from SU!
DP is from Basic Grey and solid cs is from SU!

So I really should share with y'all when I buy stuff. I mean, afterall, shopping really is my 1st love...

I have never bought anything from them that I know of but somehow, by the grace of God, I am on their email list!!

The email said they have the new Cuttlebug products in stock and they were shipping them today!!

Sunday Stamping

I finally got time tonight to sit down and stamp something! Eveyone is done bothering me and they are all doing their own thing, it's nice and quiet in this part of the house. The only thing I can hear is the football game on my tv right now and that is a sound I love to hear!!

Since it has been so long I thought i'd start simply and use some of the new SU! In Colors as my inspiration. I also wanted to use stamps I havent used yet.
The colors here are Kiwi Kiss and Red Riding Hood Red. This color combo feels very "Fally" to me and with the sunburn on my face (BAD Jimmi!!) it is nice to think of cooler weather, lol.

I used the Unity Kit Tiny Trinity and a saying from another kit called A Mix Up of Cuteness.
